THE HEART DESIRES

Good Morning.... Welcome to another inspirational post for our current challenge...
I have another fun card using our pretty color palette for January..I am loving this cool blue color

My card uses the ever adorable set Frosty Fairy Friends  from Lawn Fawn...I colored the fairy images with Copics ...I used the ink resist technique for the background,  distressing with blue ink and using a stamp that had cool sketched berries to go along with this months photo, the word Jolly is from the Avery Elle set Holly Jolly   ...  finishing off with some twine and sequins...

COFFEE LOVING CARDMAKERS

Good Morning...today I'm playing along with the current sketch over at The Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog for Kerry's Sip and Share...

I started by creating the background using my Zig Real Brush markers on water color paper  ..
I used stamp products from SugarPea Designs and MFT listed below..I decided to use velum for the tag banner below to keep from hiding the fun water color background

Sugar Pea Designs Caffeine Addict and Sugar Cut Words

Art Impressions

Hello ...
I'm here today with a fun card for Art Impressions current challenge...
I love their witty hilarious stamps and its high time I started inking them up more often...anyway this weeks challenge is... Card Resolution...to try a new technique... so I have to admit my technique is not new to the crafty community but it is something I have never tried before..
ink smooshing...it is messy but a whole lotta fun...you never know what you are going to end up with until its dry...

My card is a front / back window card also something I haven't done before...

So I ink smooshed the card front and the inside as well...the images were colored with Copic markers  I used my silhouette to create the sentiment for the front which I think goes perfect with the sentiment that comes with this AI set.. Eat Itself

I decided to start back with entering a challenge...the color throwdown had a great color combo this week so I used that as my starting point

I used my Simon Says stamp set Spring Flowers, Zig Real Brush markers and the painted THANKS script die also from Simon Says
